Who doesn’t like to bite into soft, freshly baked chocolate cake, the aroma is something that gets people salivating even in their dreams. Today we give you an incredibly simple chocolate cake recipe.
- 225g flour
- 350g sugar
- 85g cocoa powder
- 1½ tsp baking soda
- 1½ tsp bicarbonate soda
- 2 eggs
- 250ml milk
- 125ml vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 250ml water
- 200g chocolate
- 200ml double cream
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Whisk all the main ingredients except water, until it reaches a smooth consistency.
Add boiling water to the above, separate the mixture into two.
Pour the mixtures into 2 cake tins and bake for about 30 minutes
Insert the knife into the cake, and if it comes out clean, it indicates that the cake is ready.
Combine the ingredients for the icing.
After taking the cakes out of the tins, layer the cake with the icing.
Now keep one slice over the other and indulge in some chocolate goodness.
