Mutton Pepper Fry

Ingredients:
- Mutton – 500 gms
- Black pepper – 2 tsp
- Green chilli – 2
- Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Onion – 2 big, sliced finely
- Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Tomato – 1, sliced
- Water – 1 cup
- Curry leaves
- Salt
- Oil
Procedure:
- Make a paste from black pepper, green chilli, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves. Marinate the mutton with this mixture along with lemon juice and salt. Keep it aside for about 1-2 hours.
- Sauté onions till they turn golden brown. Add masala powders. Followed by curry leaves and tomatoes.
- To this add the marinated mutton pieces. Mix well. Add 1 cup water.
- Cook until the mutton is properly cooked
- Add more pepper once the gravy has dried up and nicely coated on pieces.
- Serve it with Hot Appams and Porotta.
